Around 15 years ago, an explore-minded New York window manufacturer came to a mold shop located in the Southern Chinese City. He brought in some plastic hung & slider window component samples such as tilt-latches, spiral-balance shoes, weep-hole covers, night-latches, etc. 30 days later, that New Yorker flew back to New York with the new samples handed with satisfactory. That is the very beginning that Acu Plasmold Inc. involved into the business of fenestration industry in North America. And this very beginning set-up the business principal of Acu Plasmold Inc.:custom-made products for customer's most satisfactory.
Today, that customer becomes a good size window & door manufacturer in the U.S. In the mean while, with the effort of all the staff of Acu plasmold Inc. and the help of all the customers, vendors, Acu becomes a major force in window and door hardware industry in North America.
In 2001, Acu Plasmold Inc. was established in Canada to serve the Canadian customer. In 2006, Acu Plasmold USA Inc was established in California to serve the U.S. Customer. In 2008, Trust Hardware was registered in both USA and Canada as the trade mark of Acu Plasmold Inc's hardware products. This opened a new era for Acu Plasmold Inc.
Now, Acu's designated factory in China has the following departments.
1) Mold design and new product develop department with 8 dedicated engineers for new product development and mold design.
2) Mold shop with 30 experience mold makers.
3) Plastic injection mold shop with 5 injection mold machines ranging from 80-320 tons.
4) Die-casting shop with 2 die-casting machines for aluminum and zinc die-casting.
5) Powder-coating shop with clean-room powder-coating line to make the finest powder-coating in this market.
6) Stamping shop with around 20 stamping machines to ensure the growing metal hardware production.
7) coil-balance shop with automatic spring making machine.
8) Assembly work-shop with 30-40 full time workers..
These set-up arrangement ensures us to efficiently custom-making your products in short lead time.
Beside the custom-made products, Acu also develops the following products:
1) Complete line casement products such as: operators system, m.p. locking system, hinges etc.
2) Complete line of hung and slider products including coil-balance system, sash-locks and tilt-latches.
3) Screen door hardware and screen components.
4) Glass components
5) Miscellaneous components such as rollers, weep-hole covers and fiberglass window corner fittings.
All of these products are made by our co-partner factory in Guang Dong province, China which was ISO-9001-2000 certified. All the production activities there are strictly following the procedures of ISO quality control.
Also we applied the AAMA verification once AAMA required.
